Belinda is a child and family mental health and trauma clinician, teacher, EMDR & Play Therapist. She specialises in supporting children, adolescents and their families/carers.
She has over 15 years of experience working in trauma-informed and neuroaffirming contexts, including:
– as a perinatal mental health counsellor;
– as a clinician in a sexual assault & family violence service;
– as a mental health practitioner at an SDS (Special Developmental School) for the Victorian Department of Education
– as a senior clinician in a child neuropsychiartic unit at a major Children’s Hospital.
Belinda specialises in the treatment of trauma, and is particularly passionate about the use of Playful EMDR. She has, however, undertaken exstensive additional training across a range of modalities to ensure her therapetic approaches are evidence-based, best-fit, neuroaffirming and child-and-family centred. Most recently, Belinda has undertaken specialist training in undertaking EMDR with chronically traumatised children.
Belinda currently offers clinic based & telehealth services for young people and families in Melbourne.
